Shirts

it’s not quite as complex as our jackets. A shirt doesn’t
have quite as many layers, with the exception of interlining
of your collar and cuff. This is something that can be
selected as a design option to keep them looking crisp
and structured. The two types of makes we offer are
detailed below.

Construction
Our Traditional shirt is, quite logically, made using traditional
tailoring techniques and finishes – the kind that you find on
higher-end shirts in the market. These include a ‘gusset’ at
the side seam, narrow 8mm seams and a top-button placed
asymmetrically for a cleaner fit around the neck. The shirt is
assembled using various sewing machines using 19 stitches
per 3 cm, to ensure a high quality and consistent finish.

Pros - An affordable yet high quality option
- Refined look

Construction
As the name suggests, this shirt is fully handmade; constructed
the way original skilled tailors made them before the invention
of the sewing machine. Almost all of the seams in our shirt are
finished by hand, which makes it a highly time consuming and
costly process. However, it is well worth it. A handmade stitch
is more flexible and can be adjusted with every single stitch
– there’s no machine setting like it – making these shirts feel
extremely comfortable, with a natural amount of ‘stretch’ for
motion and ease in wear. Besides the side-seam gusset, 8mm
seams and asymmetrical top-button, our handmade make
includes: displaced sleeve seams, for extra comfort, and a
travetta on the sleeve vent.
